A top FBI agent based in Washington, D.C., reportedly resigned from his position last week after being accused of attempting to thwart a criminal investigation into Hunter Biden.
Timothy Thibault, an FBI assistant special agent in charge, was escorted out of the Washington field office by at least two “headquarters-looking types” last Friday, sources told the Washington Times on Monday.
Thibault had already been on leave since FBI director Christopher Wray revealed during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this month that he found the whistleblower claims against the agent and his colleague, FBI supervisory intelligence analyst Brian Auten, “deeply troubling.”

Some Republicans have insisted that Thibault may have been motivated by malicious political bias, pointing to his social-media history, including a retweet of a Lincoln Project message that called former president Trump a “psychologically broken, embittered and deeply unhappy man.”

Last week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted on Joe Rogan’s podcast that Facebook suppressed stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election after the FBI told the company they should look out for Russian “misinformation.”
The “distribution” of the bombshell report was limited on the social media platform for “five or seven” days when the laptop was still being authenticated, leading to a situation in which “fewer people saw it than would have otherwise,” he said. Zuckerberg said the FBI didn’t specifically ask Facebook to flag the Biden laptop story but suppressed it anyway after deciding it qualified as potential Russian propaganda.
Commentary:
This is all about political corruption within the Agency. Evidence showing that personnel with the FBI obstructed facts and assisted Democrats in the 2020 presidential election continues to rise.
The fish rots from the head. Those people located on the seventh floor of the FBI HQ are responsible for these corrupt, biased actions.
The damage is already done. The punishments for the stolen election — if any there ever are — will never be sufficient to right the wrongs done to the American people in 2020 and today.
the Deep State takes care of its own, I expect he will get a higher paying do-nothing job as a consultant somewhere.
Like McCabe, Thibault will more than like be hired by CNN at twice his bureaucratic Federal salary to spew more propagandist lies for the Maoist/DSA Democrat Commies.
It's no coincidence that days after the Rogan/Zuckerburg broadcast that Thibault has resigned, despite the fact he was previously outed by a whistleblower revealing this to the investigation by Senators Grassley and Johnson.
The deepest concern with most Americans is that had the Hunter Biden laptop information come out ahead of the 2020 election, Joe Biden would have exposed and lost the election.
When the FBI, White House, MSM and Fake News outlets conspire to suppress the Hunter Biden scandal before the election, it's clear that the election was stolen.
We, the people, should have Biden removed NOW because of this corruption.
Just imagine that today on the anniversary of the Afghanistan debacle 13 American Soldiers would not have been killed and more than 18 wounded and maimed at Abbey Gate.
We can all thank politically biased agents within the FBI and the decisions made by corrupt criminal and fraudulently elected Joseph Robinette Biden.
