It's nice to see today's generation appreciates the music of 50+ years ago. In fact, many like it better than what they produce today.
I watch a tremendous amount of reaction videos. They get their minds blown when they see someone shred on a real instrument, like a guitar. They have never seen it before. Everything is done on computer now.And it's sad they have no music of any real value to enjoy today.
I like almost all music, and i've played a lot of it out, and call me an 'oldie' , but i just LOVE the classic rock
one that our vocalist (trust me it takes a real one) knocks outta the part>

~S~I beg to differ. There IS new music that's pretty good. But it's not mainstream. And I do hear young folks play it sometimes. But it admittedly does draw on past genres at times, albeit with a new twist and new elements. And it's sad they have no music of any real value to enjoy today.

Here is a badass video. You know the song, but watch this musical genius perform it. That weird mother ****** is TALENTED! He plays keyboard, sax and drums like a master of each instrument!!
When I was in the Navy in like 1993, there was a bar called "The Bastille" in Fresno which was an old time pre 19th century womens prison. They used the cells to store beer kegs. Anyway, Steve Perry from Journey used to go there on the weekends to watch live bands. That was a trip.Edgar used to sometimes show up at Momma's Worry in Beaumont. After he got drunk, be might get up and sit in with the band.
And we lost another great guitarist today--Jeff Beck, RIP.And it's sad they have no music of any real value to enjoy today.

And still haven't learned anything. It's still shocking to realize I'm the same age as old people.
