No I was a Marine in the 60s but I lived north of Fresno after seps and my wife attended Fresno State in the early 70s. I've visited LeMoore a time or two when they've opened the base to the public.

My squadron had marines integrated into it, so every maintainance shop was a mix of Marines and sailors working side by side, doing the exact same job. In fact, my boss was Marine Staff Sergeant.
