I think there is a lot of confusion with these labels and that some people don't actually understand what they're asking for. They want what Scandinavia has, and that is a capitalist society. If you cared about the health of this nation you'd be open minded to the possibility of cooperation and improvement. You'd want to find ways to deescalate hostilities. Having a strong non-divisive centrist president like Trump certainly helps. A recent example is the passage of the First Step Act.

An example of unreasonable Democrat obstructionism that is extremely detrimental to our country is their sudden and obviously disingenuous (eg Obama building a wall is ok, Trump building a border wall is racist) opposition to any border security wall infrastructure project that would save the taxpayers money and provide living wage jobs to many workers.
