Vladimir Putin used a “it’s not a war” claim under different pretenses. It’s what warmongers do to avoid embarrassment of being at war..

Equally, we can cook on the stove top, or outside with wood. And other ways.

Boots on the ground is a tactic, not a definition of war . War can be fought by air, sea or ground.

A country that bombs us by air would be committing an act of war. If we attack them and they attack us, and we attacked them, repeatedly, it’s still a war even by air.

There’s no standard of war nationally of internationally that says “boots on the ground” is a requirement. It’s a made up excuse by warmongers and the cult followers of their cult leader Donald Trump, Warmonger in Chief.
