When the Kennedys and Rockefellers are hauled up before an IRS investigation panel, I'll believe these endlessly recycled stories about how they're finally going to "get tough" on offshore tax havens.

When the Kennedys and Rockefellers are hauled up before an IRS investigation panel, I'll believe these endlessly recycled stories about how they're finally going to "get tough" on offshore tax havens.

Problem is that they were tax cheats back when it was easy to get away with it. IOW, the founding members of these families. IMO, I doubt that they are tax cheats anymore. Too little upside and too big of a downside. Their family name is worth more than the money they would save.

Anytime anyone gets out of paying the usury known as the income tax is fine in my book.

I wish more people would refuse to comply.
