Why should Iran or any country trust the US to keep its word?
Iran complied with the nuclear deal, disposed of its enriched uranium and the international community along with the US agreed they were in compliance.

This is a very simple situation, grounded in one incontrovertible fact: Iran has no legitimate need of, and has zero interest in having, commercial nuclear power. They sit on an ocean of oil, and couldn't care less about their carbon footprint.

If they WERE - for some bizarre reason - interested in commercial nuclear power, they could buy fuel from a number of different places; France would gladly trade them fuel rods for oil.

But the Iran Nuclear [unconstitutional] "deal" supposes that Iran has a legitimate need for commercial nuclear power, and intends to innocently enrich uranium to fuel it. Which is manifestly preposterous.

Everybody in the world knows - except for American Leftists - that the nuclear power thing is nothing more than a cover so that Iran can enrich uranium to weapons-grade, and thus make their own nuclear weapons.

So why enter into any sort of "deal" with them?

Trump/Pompeo fully understood what was up, cancelled the [unconstitutional] "deal" and sought to bring a world of shit down on those bastards until they gave up enriching uranium. Which was and remains the only rational course of action.

Parenthetically, the Europeans are keen to start trading with Iran in order to access their petroleum. This is why American must play the role of Leader, and not part of the foolish pack that is pretending that Iran is not a rogue, lawless, terrorist state.
