I don't care that 17% of the Gubmint is shut down; it doesn't affect me at all.

And that's what the Dems fear the most...that most Americans will see the shut down as no big deal, or actually a benefit.

So, the Dems are doing nonsensical things like putting orange cones on turn outs to view Mt. Rushmore and Barrycades around open air memorials to Punish Us for not wanting Mo Mo Mo Big Gubmint.

Dang, that makes me think of a couple of things.
First, my bucket list includes playing Saint Saenz' "Danse Macabre" on my violin. I have often though "fiddlin'" would be more appropriate.
Second: One of my cousins played bass for those Mummer's bands in Philly. You should have seen the harnesses he used to support a base fiddle while marching.
I do like that kind of music, though.
