Zone1 Time to move the Vatican?

For me, the Center of the Catholic Church is usually in the Tabernacle in my church.

Otherwise, I like it where it's at in Rome because The Vatican is full of all those treasures and beautiful architecture and art. The architecture and art cannot ever be moved in a practical way. I looked at about a half dozen sources about La Pieta, and could not even find an estimate of the weight of the sculpture -- tons, probably. I can't even imagine the process of moving the Altar of St. Peter, probably hundreds of tons.

At any rate, I hope His Holiness LeoXIV has had the place exorcised.

What immediately came to mind were the tales of Youngstown, Ohio. Notably the past tales of the city's mob connections with all the killings and buildings being blown up.

Now that we have an American Pope, why not move the Papacy and the headquarters of the RCC to America?

The papacy brings a lot of jobs with it, from jobs on the cardinals' staff all the way down to nun and altar boy positions.

Relocating the New Vatican in Youngstown Ohio would provide a real kick in the pants to the economy of the city, with has lost 2/3 of its population since its peak.

when Benedict was Pope, there was no talk of moving the Vatican to Berlin ..... 😊

the Vatican was not moved to Warsaw either
isn't Rome of LEGENDARY IMPORTANCE because of some sort of thing
about Jesus making a magical visit-----kinda like Muhummad revved up
his flying carpet in the direction of Jerusalem?

no..... never....

it once was the capital of a world power
ok----but somehow it got holy to early christians---the followers
of Constantine who saw a big magic cross and then won lots of
battles. Of course no one was killed in those battles---Constantine
became a saint for the people who dumped the successor to Peter in
Rome---to wit, the Eastern Orthodox Church (like Putin supports). UHM --
I am not sure what city is holy to the eastern orthodox

Jerusalem?

Jerusalem?
they do have a thing for Jerusalem where their part is called
???? the ARMENEAN section. I think they use Aramaic in
their churches. I had two playmates as a child----Eastern
Ortho with Balkan background. They despised everyone---
Catholics were just as bad as Jews. I gained insight into the
mess which is the Balkans from them. Jews use lots of Aramaic, but
it is written using the Hebew alphabet-----I don't know what the Orthos
use for writing. Jesus used the Hebraic Aramaic <<<< best guess

Would the US give them a "Vatican City" i.e. sovereign ground to be defended by Swiss Guard? LMAO, another useless thread.

Anything can be moved---LOL, they moved the London Bridge to AZ in the sixties. I'm with you, though. This thread is nonsense.
