Now that we have an American Pope, why not move the Papacy and the headquarters of the RCC to America?

The papacy brings a lot of jobs with it, from jobs on the cardinals' staff all the way down to nun and altar boy positions.

Relocating the New Vatican in Youngstown Ohio would provide a real kick in the pants to the economy of the city, with has lost 2/3 of its population since its peak.

when Benedict was Pope, there was no talk of moving the Vatican to Berlin .....

When Benedict had been Pope US-Americans wanted to wage war against the Vatican and occupy it. The plan probably failed because their aircraft carriers cannot turn around in the Tiber and we Germans have not yet invented a helicopter that can fly an aircraft carrier over land.

Very easy. You occupy a big part of Poland and Germany. Then you murder and displace the Germans and move Poland to German territory direction West by increasing the territory of Russia.
