I'm agnostic at best but it's what our founders would have wanted.

After they fucked their slaves ?I'm agnostic at best but it's what our founders would have wanted.
AA is a private voluntary entity. Not only that.
But the Lord's Prayer is already said at non-sectarian events like AA, which convicted drunk drivers are already sent to by secular judges as punishment.
Are you on drugs?Who is saying that?
All I'm suggesting is a simple prayer to Almighty God that many secular groups recite as well.
I'm not suggesting that the school forcefully baptize or circumcize anyone.
Go ahead and repeal the First Amendment, because doing so would be establishing Christianity as the official government religion.
Respectfully, you may kiss my ass!
Not only that.

So you would have no problem with Muslim students saying their prayers under your own children's participation? How about the reading of the Torah?According to the video students would have to get parents consent to participate which would alleviate my primary concern.
I'm not from Texas, is the AG that is advocating this, Angela's husband here:
In a statement, Angela Paxton said she moved to end her 38-year marriage “on biblical grounds,” citing “recent discoveries.”

It's pointless because it is grossly unconstitutional and has been since 1962. There is no doubt about it.While my primary concern of forced participation would be alleviated, if this involved Arizona schools, I would look at the issue very carefully. I'd check exact wording of the AG's proposal and if finding no problem there, I'd next look into the local school district and how it was to be implemented.
