Not really. FIrst of those 42,000 accidents, only 13,000 are DUI.

We could resolve the DUI problem pretty simply. Equip every car with a blow meter that locks ignition.

Then people use canned air or have a passenger use the blow meter.

What we need is stiff penalties. DUI should be a felony with automatic loss of license for say a year.
