We should expand legal immigration. There are plenty of jobs. There are not enough Americans.
We definitely shouldn’t be looking to deport the millions of illegal immigrants who have been here for many years and not nothing anyone. We should be giving them a path to citizenship, not trying to mess up the economy by strangling our labor supply.

The question is who is better to fix problems. Donald Trump did nothing. You can see it in his numbers. It spiked under him and only dipped under covid then spiked again under Biden.
Here is the Trump administration railing about how there are loopholes in the CURRENT LAWS that is preventing them from stopping the crossings. There was no update to the laws. Just a blip for covid.
Now Biden did submit a bill to fix immigration. Trump never did. He did nothing in 4 years. Why believe he is best to fix it?

The decade high immigration numbers in 2019 are not disputed. CNN cited the administration officials saying there were too many loopholes in immigration today. Since nothing has changed, there are still too many loopholes after 4 years of Trump and 3 of Biden. At least Biden submitted a deal to address. Trump did nothing. Nothing. In fact he was worse cuz he blocked the only thing that anyone tried to do.
