My suspicion is that Walz was aware that a trial of a Somali Medicare fraudster would link him to the fraud, thus the fix was in and the Somali was allowed to leave the country.

This is not just coincidence. This is the democrat fraud syndicate at work.

In another jaw-dropping example of Minnesota’s collapsing justice system under far-left Governor Tim Walz, a major fraud kingpin in the state’s largest-ever Medicaid scam has skipped the country, just days before his high-profile trial was set to begin.

Abdirashid Said, the top defendant in a sprawling $11 million personal care assistant (PCA) fraud scheme, is now a fugitive after skipping a scheduled pretrial hearing in Hennepin County

.

Great! The more of them who get arrested and have trials scheduled, the more will split the country, leaving a name on our NEVER-LET-THIS-LOSER-BACK-IN-OUR-COUNTRY list.

Or the pardon's Cheeto's given to HIS fraudsters

Trump Vowed to Crack Down on Fraudsters, but He’s Pardoned Dozens

Across both of his terms, President Trump has granted clemency to more than 70 allies, donors and others convicted in fraud cases.

NO PAYWALL

Trump pardons wipe nearly $2 billion in victim repayment and taxpayer recovery for Medicare and tax fraud, and more

This case highlights ongoing issues with bail reform and the challenges prosecutors face in keeping high-risk defendants from fleeing before trial, especially in complex financial crimes involving millions in taxpayer funds.
Said was previously convicted in 2021 of Medicaid fraud for stealing taxpayer money while claiming to operate a PCA company out of a mailbox. After his conviction, he started receiving checks from other PCA companies, which he claimed were loans to pay back restitution. Investigators charged Said with racketeering, conspiracy to steal $11 million, and perjury as part of a larger investigation into PCA fraud. Prosecutors wanted bail set at $1 million, citing Said's family ties to Kenya, but Judge Juan Hoyos gave him the option of a $150,000 bond with no travel restrictions, which Said took.
