Tim Walz and his desire to disarm American citizens

That's because people fight back. NO ONE is taking my firearms in this world.

Or because it's a part of the Constitution. But every time the right want to get support, they say "the left's taking your guns" and gun sales go up...

Stolen valor man sad.

Are you worried about your politicians being "confirmed liars"????

The "They're taking your guns" happens every time the right come under threat, have they taken your guns yet? Must have happened at least 2 million times by now.

Walz is antigun and kneepads has said she wants a mandatory confiscation with little compensation. At what point do you suspend your disbelief and accept what they say at face value?

"We need to ban guns!!" - Democrats
"They coming for our guns" - Gun owners
"No one is coming for your guns!!" - Democrats

From Bloomberg.

Kamala Harris Supports Mandatory Buyback of Assault Weapons

Typical Leninist / Stalinist tactic of disarming the population.

It may take Democrats actually living under their authoritarian regimes before they smarten up. I don't think they understand the implications of their gun grabbers pounding on doors in the middle of the night and gun owners resisting those efforts.

Not that I expect any of the usual anti-gun trogs to engage in a meaningful discussion on the issue...

What will this achieve?

There are maybe 25,000,000 AR15s in private hands - just AR15s.
Lets say 5,000,000 are "bought back".
That leaves 20,000,000 AR15s in the possession of criminals, and the creation of a huge black market for sae.

How does this make us safer?

Exactly right. Those rifles in the hands of illegal owners will never be confiscated.

Confiscating guns from law abiding citizens only achieves removing the ability of citizens to resist a tyrannical government.

The Second is much larger than a tired old coot that ran when faced with duty.

And that's their plan. They want to do things patriots would shoot them for.
The useful idiots don't have any idea what is driving these Marxist policies. There is a disheartening lack of second order thinking amongst the body of progressive voters. Their leaders give them a simple reason to do whatever, that has no effect on the condition they are ostensibly trying to solve - that usually makes the target situation worse, and they latch onto it maniacally, without an ounce of applied intelligence. It's a weird reflexive thing with progressives that has been exploited throughout history. None of them examine the previous outcomes of the policies they latch onto, which are right there in the history books, and apply any critical thinking to it. "Last time they did this, this happened." That's all they have to do, but they don't.
