I have done the 70 to 80 hour a week and the sacrifices one must make it not worth it. Thus I worked my ass off and got an advanced degree and a job where I can actually have a life as well.

If you have family and still choose to work 70 to 80 hours as week, that is what is truly sad.

If you hadn't skipped Civics, you would know that the Federal Government does not have the authority to manage public schools. That responsibility lies with the governor and local government. including the mayor and local school board.
