Three nuns die...

Three nuns were involved in an auto accident and unfortunately die at the scene of the accident. Their names were Sister Mary, Sister Ann and Sister Ruth. Naturally, they find themselves at the Pearly Gate with Saint Peter standing there with a clipboard.

He welcomes the three nuns and tells them that they are right on time and he has their name of the list of possible people who can enter through the Pearly Gate into heaven but first they must each answer a simple biblical question. The nuns look at each other and are fearful they won't get the question answered correctly but Saint Peter tells them to relax because he is sure they will do just fine with their answers.

"Sister Mary, you shall be first. Tell me, who was the first man?", asked Saint Peter.

"That's easy", replied Sister Mary. "It was Adam."

All of a sudden there was music and the Pearly Gate opened up for Sister Mary.

"Sister Ann, it is your turn.", said Saint Peter. "Who was Adam's wife?"

"Why her name was Eve." replied Sister Ann.

Again, there was music and the Pearly Gate opened up for Sister Ann.

"Sister Ruth, you are the last and here is your question. What were the first words Eve spoke to Adam?", asked Saint Peter.

Sister Ruth was very nervous and paced back and forth. Finally, Saint Peter said, "I need your answer to the question."

Sister Ruth said, "Gosh, that's a hard one!"

All of a sudden there was music and the Pearly Gate opened up for Sister Ruth.
