Those wonderful, amazing cheap cuts of meat.

Timely post. I was in the freezer chest 30 min ago and came upon 30# or so shoulders, butts. Looks like smoker time. I make it into pulled pork and vaccumn seal in approx 1# bags.

Real cool treat, appetizer?

Roll out pop fresh biscuits to about 4", put in biscuit tins to make a cup. Fill with pulled pork (little shredded cheese on top can be good too) Bake about 10 min.
 
AKA "Picnic Roast". Marinating one today for Sunday dinner. Kind of a Cuban citrus thing. Great for tacos. Or toss it on a bun with your favorite BBQ sauce and a little coleslaw. Slow and low!
 
Guava Butter on pork is great. Here in Florida they use to grow all over. My mom made guava butter and it is the best on hot biscuts or on pork. I am not sure where to get it in stores.
