Those Canadian “Concessions”?

So Trump backed off his proposed tariffs for Canada

I told you all that, this $1.3B was announced a month ago lol. I remember numbers fairly well and thought "what a waste of cash for a non-threatening border" (at least at the moment).

Trump is the consummate salesman I will give him that. We still need to renegotiate in 30 days time so we aren't out of the woods yet.

It's actually working out well for us. We've caught a LOT more cocaine coming in from the USA, and more guns. Win/win for us.

Relax stupid. I'm just saying Trump caused this market crash and I'm sure the rich are capitalizing on it. They know the stocks are going to go back up.

Do they also know Trump's just a bluffer? We are all starting to realize his MO. Bluff.

Hey, I know a lot of poker players who are good because they aren't afraid to bluff. Trump seems like the kind of guy who aint afraid to bluff.

I'm going to buy $10K worth of stock next time Trump does this again. How about you? I'm a rich guy with TDS. You're a broke ass who's stupid enough to believe Trump's going to give you a raise and lower your rent.
Typical assumptions I've noticed this a lot from those who suffer from TDS. Good for you. But what makes you think I'm "a broke ass"? Who says I'm "stupid"? You? You don't even know me. But again, I understand. It's the TDS.

I mean this TDS blinds folks to the fact that we 70+ million voted for Donald Trump not to be a regular politician, no. We wanted someone who was going to smash the status quo and make big changes to the way the United States of America has been for the last few decades. Do try to keep up, buttercup.

Didn't I basically say this earlier? That Trump causes chaos then backs down and he's the hero for avoiding the chaos he created? This woman is saying the same thing. But at the end of her article she does admit that Trump got Canada and Mexico to give us something....

foreign leaders are already figuring out how to come out of negotiations with President Donald Trump unscathed: Just let him declare victory on TV.
“Trump is trying to repackage the status quo as a victory. That’s what the leaders of these foreign countries are learning,”

“You don’t actually have to give Trump anything. You have to let him announce victory on TV.

“Second of all, it’s not actually back to the status quo. It is worse than the status quo,” “we have tarnished our relationships with our allies whose help we need to rein in China.”

Also consider the additional uncertainty that’s being added to the business environment right now

On Monday, Trump backed off, agreeing to a 30-day pause, as the neighboring nations said they were taking steps to address his concerns about border security and drug trafficking.

So what did Trump win? Or what did he want?

Canada will implement its already previously announced $1.3 billion border plan, adding that he would also appoint a fentanyl czar, list cartels as terrorist organizations and launch a joint strike force with the U.S. to address drug trafficking and organized crime.

Mexican President said her government would send 10,000 National Guard troops to its northern border to prevent drug trafficking to the U.S.
you don't know how to negotiate. It's actually your problem.

Then why is Canada offered to do more?
More? What appointing a drug czar?

Big whoop.

They committed to 15,000 troops and a bigger border presence on Dec.

Trump negotiated DOWN to 10,000 troops

Trump got 10K MORE, drug czar, and they put your cartel buddies on the terrorist list.

Nope. Not more. You’re lying or just stupid
Nope it's fact.

The number you cited was from a law that Canada passed in December, not some sort of international agreement between teh two countries.

Lesh, you are just clueless, as usual.

That’s right. Canada committed to that in December. That’s all they committed to
