Thomas Massie loses Kentucky House primary to Trump-backed Republican challenger

I heard both Massie and his opponent were claiming to be the Trump candidate.

You heard wrong. Massie was just countering the lies when he pointed the things he agreed with Trump on.

One of the biggest lies was that he always voted against Trump.

Trump is the most underestimated politician in history.

Now the a-holes are trying to seize control of communication cables that run in the bottom of the Strait; that if anyone uses them, they must pay a fee to Iran. That is between trying to say who can use the Gulf to get oil or not.

Whatever happened to Hegseth's claims in March that these people were already beaten?

I've been saying since late March that you will get nowhere with these people so long as you leave them any choice in the matter. They are hunkered in for bear, they do not care about the country or people just so long as the IRGC survives.

These jerks probably have tunnels dug they can hide in and disappear against ground forces, and you gotta dig them out like ticks.

We have wasted almost two months jerking around with these people. The only way we can win this is if we go in there and take it because they are never going to give up a thing so long as they have a breath left, these people are crazy.

I have to conclude that the only thing holding him back is fear of political consequences, but had he just done the right thing back in early April, it would now be long over.

(unless Trump knows something he isn't telling us, like Iran already has something nuclear up their sleeve)

I think whatever resolves the issue with them being able to threaten the Strait will also resolve their ability to threaten much of anything else. Including the cables.

From a technical standpoint, I have a bunch of questions about the sanity of anyone who would install a cable (fiber optics even) through Iran and not have a backup or redundant cable that they (Iranians) don't know about.

And who does it serve? Who must it serve?

The internet has been blocked in Iran for months.

We have news stories here in the U.S. of kids all but killing their parents for taking their X-box away.

Something really smells funny about that whole "threat to underwater cables" to me.

What it takes to beat Massie...........

Trump, the entire Israeli lobby, Fox News, the Secretary of War, Hegseth, Ingram, Shapiro, Benny Johnson, Laura Loomer, a whole slew of influencers. A gold digger. About $35 million. And a lot of lies.

I thought the very same thing. I used to work in global telecom and I realize that running sea cables is the easiest and cheapest way to run comm cables into a region, but likewise with Saudi now building pipelines to other ports far and away from Iran---- is the whole world just now waking up to the fact that they've been living with a militant thugocracy who also happens to control the world's largest oil supply?

And who does it serve? Who must it serve?
I heard of a couple of the companies, like maybe Amazon, Apple, people like that. For 50 years now we have struggled with this country over control of the production of their oil, something we or Britain already controlled in the first place. How do you let something so important fall into the hands of a group of people like this?

Exactly, and with satellites and such. . To make the case that we "need" this cable to run through Iran, as it's technically impossible to do without it?

I'm calling Bullshit!

Trump is the most underestimated politician in history.

He "wins" too often to write it all off as luck.

I just wish he weren't so abrasive with his confidence. Though sometimes, I can agree - in some private meetings- that can be an asset too.

This is an example of the manner in which I "wish" Trump would deal with Iran.

Maybe it's a Marine thing.

Billy Jack was the best. He was my hero.

+2

That reverse crescent is a hell of a kick. Tom had style, being that close is not easy.

Only thing is that if that old guy had really been whopped by a hapkido kick across the face, he would have been out cold.

He certainly wouldn't be talking so easily since he was kicked while his mouth was open and hit on the button.

RINO: A Republican who's neither fiscally and/or constitutionally conservative.

So yeah, there is a RINO party. The Republican party is all RINO's now.
Nah, they are being voted out, one by one. A RINO is a democrat in sheep's clothing. Marxists, just working a little slower to destroy this country.

15th post
Yeah....Ken Paxton, a guy who was impeached by the crazy Republican Party in TX for corruption and is currently having an affair while running for the Senate.

LOL, you are so clueless.

Paxton will lose to the Democratic challenger, James Talarico.

Tejanos won't vote for deviant nutjobs here; they don't vote for them in California, either, and neither will blacks, no matter how stupid you think they are. It was blacks and hispanics who voted to ban homo fetishist marriage in CAlifornia, aafter all.

Massie is a Libertarian at heart and his independent voters can't vote in the Republican primaries unless they go in and change their party from Independent to Republican.

That's why he wins his elections in the General election, he has a lot of supporters that are independent, who can not vote in the Republican Primaries.

The world will sit on its ass until a big problem develops, then sit on its ass whining for 'everybody else', usually us, to fix it for them.

Here is the US's response to tankers being sunk during WW II.

Pipelines can be built fairly cheap in the ME due to terrain and govt. land ownership, and they can also go underwater into Europe. The Russians have them under the Baltic. The pipe diameters are larger and pumps are also much better these days.

Trump signed a pipeline Bill as soon as was sworn in for the big Alaska LNG pipeline aimed at supplying our Asian allies, and also got rid of the Chinese puppets in Venezuela, so oil from there will also be going to Asia, and bypassing the ME altogether. Pipelines can also be built to bypass the Panama Canal bottleneck. The new industrial zone agreement with the Philippines is also going to be great.
