Interesting apparently reducing the White student population to 55% isn't nearly enough for San Luis Obispo:

“In 2011, the campus was 63 percent Caucasian,” the May 2 report informs readers, “in fall of 2017, it was less than 55 percent … but there is still much work to do.”

This does not work. All you end up doing is increasing the number of under qualified college students who drop out or under perform to the point where their grades are too low to be employable or eligible for grad school.
