Turns out that what most of the party REALLY wanted was an arrogant, pugilistic, vindictive, flamboyant, authoritarian, white nationalist strongman.

BTW: Most of the party wanted to be heard. The establishment has been throwing conservatives under the buss for a couple of decades and after McCain/Romney, we said enough.
