This country should be spending trillions of dollars on anti-aging! Aging and death are the most fucked up things imaginable. These things are the worse enemies we face as a nation.

Every college, lab and resource should be spent on defeating aging and death. No one should die or suffer...

We spend 800 billion on killing people. Why not the same on stopping process of suffering, death and pain???? It doensn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense.

We have been extending life over the years. At one time you did well to make on average to 27 years old. Sure there were people that lived longer but on average 27 years old was normal.
In the 1800s we increased that to around 37.
By the 1900s we increased it to about 45.
In about 1950s we went to 65.
Around 2000 we were all the way to an average of 75.
Right now we are on an average of 79 to 80.
Our life spans are increasing because we have less things that are killing us off early. We do not see large numbers of childbirth deaths. Things like the Black Death are not cutting people down. Cancer is slowly becoming less of a killer. Things that were called consumption because they did not understand them or have a treatment for them are being treated. Trauma that would have been a death sentence are being treated and people are being rushed to the hospital and even specialty hospitals.
We have not found a magic bullet that will shut off aging or allow us to live forever. Perhaps there is none as our genes are destroyed by nuclear particles put out by our sun.
But I guess there is always hope.

If you read Genesis, you will see that people lived closed to a thousand years before the Great Flood.

However, after the Great Flood, they did not live past 120 years old.

What was the message from the author? Whether you believe the account or not, the message is evident, which is allowing evil human beings who are very intelligent to live that long only makes life hell for everyone else.

For example, Hitler only lived about 50 years. Imagine how much damage he could have done living a thousand of years.
