Yes, he should have stated that it's great the market was up, but he should always follow that with, "but to me, it's all about jobs and helping people become better off".
The market was overvalued even before the coronavirus, that just made it easy for people to sell off an already overpriced market.
As long as jobs and wages grew, the U.S economy is in a good position.
