American Citizen With 3 Young Kids Says US Embassy Left Them Trapped in Besieged Gaza Strip: ‘We’re All Feeling Abandoned’

She's stupid. The US doesn't owe her transportation home. I thought she must have worked for the US embassy.
Nobody expected this war to come about. Tons of Americans travel to and from all sorts of countries bc they have family there

I’m sure she’s going to have to pay for her transportation.

The US has no jurisdiction over Americans in foreign countries and travelers should not expect the US embassy to come to the rescue.

Good grief. Anti-Semite, Fwankie Dumby-o Rosefelt, still can’t manage to assign blame to Hamas where blame entirely belongs.

Since 2006, Hamas and Israel have fought five wars, including the most recent one.

May God be with this young woman. This lovely American citizen has been trapped in Gaza since August with her three kids.

This thing has gone both ways. Israeli militants has killed American citizens. Not only the USS liberty. But last year an American journalist was killed by Israeli forces

And we all know that Hamas militants have killed American citizens recently.

This war is not good versus bad. There’s good guys and bad guys on both sides.

The US government has no jurisdiction over US citizens abroad. Why didn't she take her family and leave?

The US government has no jurisdiction over US citizens abroad.
Why do they have to pay taxes working in another country?

Does the US have jurisdiction in other countries?

Indeed, extraterritorial jurisdiction, as this concept is known, is increasingly used by the United States to prosecute both US citizens living and working abroad, as well as foreign nationals who have no connection to the United States.Aug 4, 2017

The USS liberty was an accident during the fog of war. There was no motive for Israel to sink one of our ships.

The Israeli government did an investigation of the killing of an American journalist in the Palestinian Territories. Their conclusion was that was probably killed by accident by an IDF soldier, although they can’t say for certain. They were never allowed to investigate the bullet that killed her because the Palestinians wouldn’t let them.

I 100% reject you’re moral equivalence.

There was no fog of war. The 3 hour attack on the USS Liberty was deliberate.

No. The US doesn't have jurisdiction in other countries.

"WASHINGTON – Jewish leaders and organizations roundly decried Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's comments Thursday warning American Jews that they would be responsible if he loses the 2024 election to Democratic nominee Kamala Harris."

And it was wrong. But the US and the Israelis have long-since kissed-and-made-up... next slide, please...

Then maybe she an her kids should have been in the UNITED STATES if they’re US Citizens. I have zero sympathy for US Citizens who are caught up in issues outside the US.

No reason for them to be outside the US; and NO I don’t believe in dual-citizenship. Dual citizens are not Americans in my mind. You can’t have split loyalties.
