Excellent point, and a stellar example of how a lot of Republicans and Modern Conservatives really aren't Conservatives at all, haven't been for a long time, and how that crap of empowering the federal government to meddle in shit it shouldn't be became more popular on the Right shortly after World War II.

Imperialism doesn't really stop at the border and becomes Internal Colonialism through political division and strife, especially in a majority two party system that would rather pretend it is not a one-party Establishment.

The People and Parties create colonies of political division, and would just rather fight for power, when their common goal is to gain control over our Republic, by robbing power from the Democracies in the States.
