‘Disney announced on Monday that it screwed up when it suspended late-night ABC host Jimmy Kimmel "indefinitely." It isn't a shocking announcement, Dylan Byers from Puck News told MSNBC after the news was announced. "They were telegraphing this," he said.

Deadline executive editor Dominic Patten said that Disney was already at work 24 hours after the announcement, trying to figure out how to walk back their actions. The company has lost 2.31% in market value over the past five days, at a time when the Dow Jones is up at least 1%, wrote data analyst G. Elliott Morris.

John Oliver spoke out about the matter on his Sunday show, while issuing the warning, “Giving the bully your lunch money doesn’t make him go away, he just comes back hungrier each time.”

"The strangeness of the current moment lies in how the administration is consolidating authoritarian power while also being extremely weak," noted legal analyst Quinta Jurecic. "This was a huge push, and they failed. Elite decadence (Disney) vs. popular anti-authoritarian vitality (Disney adults). "'The protests and boycotts worked! HELL YEAH!" exclaimed commentator and influencer Ed Krassenstein.’

The capitulation likely has more to do with the loss of market value than protests and boycotts.

And the authoritarian Trump regime is more incompetent than weak.

Last, it would be a mistake to believe this is over.

So what are the affiliate owners saying about it? Will they air Kimmel's show after refusing to do so earlier? Of course you propagandist will pretend that never happened, but it did.

.

It's just a matter of time before the MSM realizes it is not worth it to lose money catering to the neo-leftists. And every time a neo-leftist speaks another person realizes the neo-left are scum and starts to think maybe Trump and MAGA are right. I say please keep Kimmel and The View going until the midterms. After the midterms the GOP will have a supermajority and the MSM will realize it is worthless catering to the neo-leftists.

I think the best way to handle this is to give Leonarda Jonie a primetime slot. All these neo-leftists will freak out that someone is on TV trashing woke culture, and they will all watch her to get triggered rather than boring Kimmel. His ratings will go to negative numbers.

It's good that Dimocrats no longer have a martyr in Kimmel.
His ratings will increase for a while, especially tonight's show since millions will want to see how the douche responds to his outing.
In time, his ratings will drop since both Nexstar and Sinclair won't be airing his lousy show.

How can you say that Trump failed to take him down when he never actually took any steps to take him down? The FCC didnt fine ABC, let alone pull their license. The FCC could do it right now if they wanted, but they arent. :cuckoo:

Definitely. these mid-terms will tell the tale. It's very difficult to undue the pattern of the opposing Party gaining seats. If the Democrats lose seats, that might be their death knell. But I take nothing for granted given how powerful and devious the Left is.

The threat by FCC Chair Brenden Carr to revoke ABC's Broadcast License was blatant Censorship. Kimmel spoke the truth and MAGA MAGGOTS hate the truth.

"Truth"? Yes, conservatives didn't want to see one of their own being the shooter. But the left have tried even harder to not be connected to the assassination.

The truth isn't hard here, the shooter was raised in a conservative household, but once he got out on his own, he got involved with the trans cult, and became radicalized into the left's agenda.

Kirk has been threatened over and over for years, and it's not conservatives that have been doing the threatening. It's silly to believe the assassin is a conservative.

His ratings will continue to drop even if Nextar and Sinclair put him on air. Its a failing show.
