They are not even hiding their fascism anymore...

We already have laws in place if someone can prove harm, why would you want to give the feds more power. Or does the concept of "FREE SPEECH" allude you.
So "FREE SPEECH" includes intentional lies and disinformation? That idea eludes me.

It also appears to elude kneepads as well, of course she thinks all her lies and disinformation should be exempt.

I heard no lie from Harris tonight, but a whole bunch from Donald.

Hard to dispute that Kamala is fascist when all of the Zionist Fascist 911 Traitors endorse her....

Trump meets the definition of a fascist and would govern like a dictator, Kelly warned, telling the Times that Trump “never accepted the fact that he wasn’t the most powerful man in the world — and by power, I mean an ability to do anything he wanted, anytime he wanted.”

The retired general pointed to the definition of a fascism ― a government with a “dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy ― and said that from his experience working with Trump, “those are the kinds of things that he thinks would work better in terms of running America.”

As Trump’s chief of staff, Kelly spent more time behind closed doors with the former president than nearly anyone else who worked in his administration.

Kelly also confirmed previous reporting about Trump praising Hitler, telling the Times that “more than once,” Trump told him: “You know, Hitler did some good things, too.”
Trump’s recent comments about using the military against “the enemy within” are similar to remarks he made while in office, Kelly told the Times, saying he repeatedly had to inform Trump that he did not have the authority to use the military against Americans. Overall, Kelly said, Trump showed very little respect for or understanding of the Constitution, American democracy or the concept of rule of law.

Impossible to dispute Trump is a fascist. Or you can argue with people who used to work for Trump. They say he's a fascist. We already knew it but now many Republicans are confirming it.

Check this out.

Over the decades, the book has come to include ready-made orders to suspend habeas corpus, the ancient and bedrock principle that those arrested appear before a judge, put parts of the country under military control, impose martial law, block Americans from traveling overseas, and restrict telecommunications, according to conversations with national security officials and analysis of documents obtained through Freedom of Information Act filings by the Brennan Center for Justice, a nonprofit law and policy institute. The public doesn’t know the extent of those presumed powers or the situations under which a President might claim the authority to deploy them. Successive administrations have refused to let Congress see the documents, arguing that they are confidential legal advice for the President. When Donald Trump was in the Oval Office, members of his national security staff actively worked to keep him from learning the full extent of these interpretations of presidential authority, concerned that he would abuse them.

Now some former Trump advisors are raising the alarm about the dangers of Trump having access to the Doomsday Book in a second term. The former officials—which include Mark Harvey, who oversaw the Doomsday Book while on Trump’s National Security Council, and Miles Taylor, a former chief of staff for Trump’s Department of Homeland Security—worry that Trump would use the powers in situations that fall far short of the crises they were drafted to address. Trump has a history of testing the limits of presidential powers, and in a second term would be free of many of the guardrails that restricted his first one. The Supreme Court ruled in July that Presidents have partial immunity for official actions. Trump’s senior advisors have a plan to purge the federal service of people unwilling to carry out his orders. “He’s going to be surrounded by a set of people that would say, ‘You have the power to do this,’” says Harvey. “Frankly, if he says, ‘Yes,’ and there are people that go do it, what’s to stop him?”

But to use these powers, a President is expected to have a genuine emergency that justifies their use, say two former White House lawyers familiar with the draft documents. The draft orders in the Doomsday Book are written for truly extraordinary situations that have debilitated the federal government or Congress and require the President to ensure the continuity of government, according to the former White House lawyers. If a President overstated the crisis, the order could be struck down in court. The last time the book was revised was during the Obama administration, and the Biden administration is currently reviewing it, says a person familiar with the documents. The Trump campaign declined to comment for this story which is based on interviews with more than a dozen national security officials from the current and previous administrations, including five from Trump’s first term.

He didn’t govern as a dictator his first term and won’t do it this term, you people have screwed up logic.

Hitler maneuvered Germany from its economic woes following WWI, created the autobahn, however his motivation was really bad, so a really terrible human.

Sorry dude, but you must have forgotten everything that occurred when Trump was president. Let me give you one example.

Why did he fire Rex Tillerson? Do you even know? Rex said Trump got sick of him telling him "sorry Mr. President, you can't do that it's against the law". So Trump fired him and tried to find someone willing to break the law.

So Trump has replaced all the good people who said no with people who won't say no.

Also the Supreme Court just ruled that a President can't be charged for a crime when doing "official acts". OH BOY is Trump going to use that.

Of course if Biden or Kamala tried to do anything Trump will do, the Supreme Court would find ways to NOT back Kamala the way they would Trump.

It's like the white guy who shot the BLM protester and was found guilty. Gov. Abbott of Texas pardoned him. If it were a black guy who shot a white who was legally carrying a gun during a protester, he would not have pardoned that black man.

Then there's General Kelly

Kelly also confirmed Trump asked him, “Why can’t you be like the German generals?” and claimed Hitler’s generals “were totally loyal to him.”

“more than once,” Trump told him: “You know, Hitler did some good things, too.”

No, the People will not permit him to be a dictator.

Who will stop him? If Democrats control the House and we impeach him, and Mitch is in charge of the Senate and protects him, what can we do? Nothing. Just like the last time he was in charge.

Clearly Trump will cross the line if he wins. Daily.

Simply do not pass any laws. Stop the government and sit tight.

Donald Trump signed a total of 220 executive orders from January 2017 to January 2021. As of July 2024, 71 of them (32%) have been revoked, many by his successor, Joe Biden.

As of May 9, 2023, President Biden signed 118 executive orders.

File in federal court against every EO that the Dems in Congress do not agree with.

We know the military won't support him, so this will be an executive legislative struggle.

You don't understand. There's a rule that presidents have MORE power in times of crisis. Trump will create/manufacture crisis' so he can initiate.

Much like Bush did with 9-11. The Patriot Act. Scary right? He can't win.

Bush had the military on his side.

Trump will not have that.
Bet before Trump was POTUS you wouldn't believe a president could fire the head of the FBI for looking into his crimes but Trump did it.

Under the Constitution, the President, in addition to being Chief Executive, is Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy.

Can the President fire military members?

United States, 140 U.S. 240 (1891); Wallace v. United States, 257 U.S. 541 (1922). Congress has not limited the President's power of dismissal in time of war.

Believe what you need so you can sleep. None of it has much to do with anything I posted but, I’m used to it.
