NH1.com said that Claremont Police Chief Mark Chase refused to comment on the case, but said the department is investigating the incident, which took place on Aug. 28. He said that because the perpetrators are juveniles, he is prevented from discussing the case publicly.

He said that unlike the adult judicial system, which is aimed at punishment, the juvenile justice system is designed to correct and rehabilitate aberrant behavior.

“These people need to be protected,” Chase said. “Mistakes they make as a young child should not have to follow them for the rest of their life.”

‘These people need to be protected’: Police won’t release info on lynching of 8-year-old biracial boy

really...the white kids are too young to know that hanging a kid is the wrong thing to do.....i seriously doubt it...but being born white still has its benefits......imagine had this been black kids hanging a white kid....do you think they would be protected?

These are teenagers, old enough to know you can kill somebody by hanging them. No, I don't think they would be any less likely to be "protected" if they were black.

This sort of racist hate crime bullshit is being encouraged by the constant chants that everybody who voted for Trump or agrees with him now and then is a racist alt nationalist bigoted evil monster. How many ropes have appeared in various places with cries of hate, only to be revealed as fakes? Frankly, in this atmosphere, it's suprizing that more stupid teenagers haven't done dangerous stunts like this one.

protected?

They need to be hung in the public square, til the birds have finished feeding on them

trying to lynch a black or biracial kid is now a 'stunt'
I said they know that hanging someone can kill them. You don't have a response other than nitpicking the word "stunt"? How interesting.
