There is a backlog of Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) applications that the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan was rushing to process using just a skeleton staff. Now, Afghan allies are in a complicated position because the Taliban won't allow them through to the airport without the proper paperwork. Afghans can't get the paperwork unless they get the necessary documents from the Embassy staff who are at the airport.

Another barrier happened in March 2020 when, due to COVID protocols, the U.S. Embassy in Kabul paused visa interviews and application processes. They were reopened Biden's second week in office.

Axios said that one of the officials was "alarmed" when it was discovered that "there was no plan from the Trump administration on how to move Afghan civilians out of the country, even though they had committed to leaving the country by May 1. So we began building one from scratch."

There is currently 80,000 visas waiting for approval.

This OP is a joke.

Joe Biden’s State Department cancelled a Trump-era evacuation program for the Afghanistan withdrawal just two months before the Taliban took over the country, internal government documents reveal.

The documents, leaked Wednesday to The National Pulse, show a June 11, 2021 directive from the desk of Deputy Secretary of State Brian P. McKeon to nix former President Trump’s “Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau” program.

Even if this were true it literally doesn't matter.

Trump is irrelevant now.

He's not making the decisions. Biden is.

Look closer to home and not the big bad orange (straw) man.

Even when your own hero is fucking up on a grand scale, you still look to Trump.

Obsession. Leftists and Democrats will give themselves aneurysms if they continue.

If that were true then why does it matter? There probably would have been if he was in office longer and could have enacted his own plan.

But it still doesn't change the fact this was bidens plan and decision. He executed it and his administration carried it out.

He could have evacuated those people and he chose not to.

Following up on Post # 7 >>> The documents, leaked Wednesday to The National Pulse, show >>>

The “SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED” document recommends:

“That you direct the discontinuation of the establishment, and termination of, the Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau (CCR), and direct a further review of certain associated Department requirements and capabilities.”
“That you direct the discontinuation of the establishment, and termination of, CCR, consistent with the applicable legal requirements, necessary stakeholder engagement, and any applicable changes to the Foreign Affairs Manual and other requirements.”
Further evidence that Biden blew it, and blew it bad. He was so intent on divorcing himself from anything done by Trump, that he dug himself a hole, that he will never be able to climb out of.

Apparently you missed the post two up. You should read it just so you know how incompetent your boy Biden is.

Yesterday I saw a photograph of Dr.Jill walking with her fractured foot boot on in a dress from a bit of a distance. Showing her spindly legs and looking like she was from a poverty stricken area. The same woman is in fashion magazines while Melania could not sniff one. Propaganda and hate is vicious and what is pushed to the people. We are ruled by something else now.
