There Is No "White Privilege"

Wouldn't be because blacks commit the most offenses would it? Oh gosh, never thought of that. Data says they commit the most crime, yet are only 13% of the population.
Statistically false.
You figure undue reparations will repair that? How about the excuses the left uses for them, which entitles them to commit more offenses?
I’m actually a “no” on reparations.

Let's get real. There is no black and white in this equation. People who think there is, are color blind.

Education Asians support the Democratic party in overwhelming numbers dumb dumb. Maybe start listening to your Asian betters. :itsok:

Asian voters in the U.S. tend to be Democratic, but Vietnamese American voters are an exception.
Ok but the voting patterns of Asians don’t change the fact that culturally, they are better educated and less felonious when compared to Whites, Blacks, and Hispanics. You don’t need to vote Democrat to be more education and avoid getting in trouble with the law. Just study and obey the law!

They're also wealthier on average. Asian immigrants are some of the wealthiest in the country. Black Americans are at the bottom of the economic ladder with a 10 to 1 wealth gap between them and white families with the average black family owning about $10, 000 in wealth to a white families $100,000. You folks are desperate to look at race and nothing else.

Yes, culturally, a better work ethic vs. America. Whites and Blacks as well. Study hard, work hard, obey the law.

You know there are poor people from these countries who don't have either of these things right? These are immigrants who tend to be wealthier and more economically advantaged than the other people in their own countries. That's how they're able to immigrate here. I've seen this play out first hand. In my family it's my black and Indian relatives who were middle class in Jamaica and they've made themselves wealthy here in America. My Chinese relatives on the other hand were poor in Jamaica. My grandfather and his brothers were gangsters. They were bookies and ran an underground casino. Nothing much changed here in America. One of them went to prison for drug smuggling when he piloted for air Jamaica. One was shot and killed along with a couple of my cousins (separate incidents). One died a fugitive hiding back out in Jamaica....

Economic resources and economic mobility are key to encouraging people to be productive members of society. This country has given the opposite to its black citizens. Instead of opportunity it keeps it's boot on their neck.

Ultimately, you want to use this thread to blame America for American Blacks’ struggles. Since you brought it up, what economic resources do you suggest America provide Blacks?

Have you read history my guy? Black people didn't bring themselves here as slaves. Didn't make themselves segregated second class citizens. Didn't red line their own neighborhoods to block themselves from economic opportunity and investment. Why do I as an child of immigrants and first generation American know more about this history than you?

As for what should be done, how about the same thing white people got? Subsidized homeownership and suburban communities?

Subsidized homeownership? What does that mean and what white people got that subsidized home ownership? As for suburban communities, my county in Maryland is one of the most racially diverse and prosperous in the US and is adjacent to the most predominantly Black and prosperous counties in the US.

What you are proposing can and does already exist.

I provided the link to show what that means. Basically under FDR the FHA along with other federal programs subsidized the building of suburban communities for white people to move to from the cities that black people were moving into as they migrated out of the Jim Crow south. The FHA drew red lines around these black neighborhoods to mark where they would not insure investment or mortgages and wrote into the deeds of these suburban neighborhoods that they couldn't be sold to black people. Today the largest concentration of white middle class wealth is in homeownership.

Which really doesn't change this history that is there plain as day.

No.... today Black Americans are the least likely to own a home or be able to afford one.

So you want the government to red line and subsidize suburban Black neighborhoods and keep the whites out?

No.... I want reparations for Black Americans over that discriminatory injustice. Are we done now with you pretending you know history or believe in justice?

Reparations. Are you proposing a one-time payout or is this going to be paid out in perpetuity to future generations.

I thought reparations was tied to slavery; not racial discrimination. Racial discrimination occurs globally and daily I’ve been discriminated and my wife and kids have been discriminated.

Back to reparations for slavery, the US taxpayer should not solely pay the brunt of this. The African Nations that created and facilitated the western slave trade market need to pay their fair share of reparations as well.

I'm someone who would have looked who educated Asians actually supported before I started talking out of my ass.
Only because political affiliation is all that’s important to you, that’s how they control you.

So, more handouts…You want successful Americans to redistribute their success to you because you’re not smart enough to earn it.

If the government subsidized homeownership and created suburban communities for Blacks, wouldn’t that be a form of and return to segregation? Is that OK with you?
