The FBI said they did, the numbers were changed because what they released to the Press in September didn't include all the data, the manual data.

If you read the article, they don’t actually say anything about the rates of violent crime in 2022. All they do is compare the change from 2021 to 2022. The problem is they are using incomplete 2021 data and pretending that this was the result of a “revision”. It wasn’t.
