It's not even about armaments specifically, it's about if enough people are willing to pick them up vs what they are picking up.

Even if it were .22 rifles if 20 million people out of the 330 million in our country pick them up the nukes, bombers, fighter jets and tanks don't mean much. They would destroy the entire country killing all of those people. If the government turned on our country using police, national guard, military a good portion of them would refuse right off the bat. All the law enforcement agencies in America is pretty small compared to citizen population, even if 1/4 of them quit and refused to fight against Americans they wouldnt have anyone to fight a state like Texas, let alone 50 states unless they leveled the country.

That's why they are fighting us but they do it in ways we don't notice. That's why they let criminals run rampant, why they lower the value of the dollar while raising interest rates, why they let us have a wide open border to flood us with poor illegals, why they are more worried about naming a building something inclusive and unoffensive than they are the economy, why they crack down on everything in the name of climate change and so on. They will wear down and dumb down the American people over time.

If you want to trap a wild pig you don't build a trap. You put out some food, then the next one wall of the trap and some food, then the next day 2 walls of the trap and some food. It won't walk in a trap, but it will not notice a trap being built slowly until its too late.

Yes. There was not intent to "bring down the government". The intent of even the people convicted of various crimes was to delay the confirmation of the Electoral College's vote. There was no plan to topple the government, no plan to eliminate congress, no plan to control the media outlets and certainly no plan to neutralize the military and police forces arrayed around D.C.. All of those steps would have been necessary to topple the government via an insurrection.

Because correctly, or incorrectly, they thought the election was held in a less than legal fashion. There is a lot of truth to that perception. Many states changed election procedures hastily and in ways not allowed by various state laws. On 1/6 the courts had not allowed a single case alleging fraud, or improper voting rules to go to trial. To this date they still haven’t. Allegations have been made, sworn statements of observed improper actions have been made, but none have been litigated, no discovery has been allowed and many people felt that before the election should have been certified, through investigations needed to happen. The demonstrations on 1/6 were both legal and proper. Permits were issued and for the most part the terms of those permits were complied with by the demonstrators. A TINY percentage rioted and an even smaller percentage trespassed on Capital grounds.
No one can point to anyone planning to actually take any of the actions necessary to overthrow the government. As I pointed out, no media outlets were seized, no military or police agencies co-opted or even impeded from accessing D.C., no government agencies were co-opted, if you look at coups all over the world those actions are the minimum necessary to overthrow a government.

The key word in your post is DELAY, not prevent, not seize power, just DELAY.
