What are you trying to imply?
If you know anything about China, you know Wuhan has a population above 12 million, and the new viral Covid outbreak occurred just when the Lunar New Year migration began, so millions were planning to leave to return to their old villages and throughout China for once a year reunifications with family. Sure many did leave the city, but certainly a million Wuhanese did not go … overseas.
In fact, when the CCP did take action they were ruthless in locking down the whole city and then the whole province, closing airports, railroads, buses and private cars.
International travel was locked down in exactly the same way, though special Western embassy-organized flights out were arranged for Westerners working in or visiting the city.
This was the sort of thing only a powerful central state bureaucracy can do, but the conspiratorial right screamed about such actions when far lesser “lockdowns” were applied in the U.S.A. Of course by the time the central Chinese government did take concerted action the Covid virus had already traveled all around the world.
I note the early Covid virus arriving into the U.S. mostly seems to have come via Italy and Europe.
The failure to prepare testing and tracing, tracking and quarantine measures beforehand in the U.S.A. made matters worse here. Our world is simply not well prepared to deal with serious new viral epidemics … that can spread quickly over world aviation networks. Humanity is lucky the Covid virus mutations have grown weaker over time.
