And while some of them may very well not want to be around me for whatever reason, tough shit for them because I have the right to be where I want to be if I qualify. And contrary to popular belief, most of them don't care about my race, only my contributions to our team's effort. I've had many valued business, professional and personal relationships and have mentored and been mentored by them. It's always been this way.

Luckily the field I am in is dominated by East Indians who cant stand white people. When I first started it was mostly white boys and they hated that I was better than them at every facet of my job. One by one they all faded away as more East Indians got into the field. That experience taught me a valuable lesson about white psychology. They are typically weak at their jobs and usually get their positions via nepotism.

The reason you have these “worst cities”,; is because the majority of the people who didn’t care for the environments they provide, have up, and left. Deciding instead to conglomerate, elsewhere, where they might associate more freely with those they choose. And just as importantly, dis associate themselves from those for whom they’d prefer not to share company with. Leaving behind a distilled essence of what the majority of what these people bring to the table.
Instead of whining about what other people have, and have created; and petulant whining for acceptance, and a piece of their pie...
These people need to show some ageny, and take it upon themselves to create, and build something others admire. To foster an environment in which other desire to gain acceptance in.

You on the other hand, are going on about your erroneous opinions that black people or me specifically get "sad" when racist white flee the area in order to not have to be around black folks. They are perfectly within their rights to do so however a black person wanting or choosing to live in a nice or nicer area (not a "white" area) because one can afford to do so and wants the benefits of living in a more upscale neighborhood is not the equivalence of "wanting to be around white people" as you seem to believe.

And for the record I haven't gotten "sad" since I was a young child and first learned of just how treacherous some members of the white race could be. In spite of this knowledge I still managed to navigate a world in which I was oftentimes the only black person in my environment and/or the only black female. So whatever jealously, envy and sour grapes you think you're seeing can only be projection. And ignorance.
