The ultimate compromise would be to cut spending and top it off with the Clinton era tax rates to help balance the budget. Then top that off again by going after the off-shore tax cheats. Ideally we could annex Belize and Switzerland, and the rest, we could shake out $$$$Trillions.

I dunno about hypocrisy but you are the ultmate doofus.
How is it hypocritical to be in favor or smaller government with lower taxes and then vote that way? If they had voted to raise taxes you would be calling them hypocrites.
As mentioned, had Democrats done what they are mandated to do, pass a budget, none of this would be necessary.

I have said so before and will again, I would go back with no argument to 2002 tax brackets and cap gains the whole magilla, BUT, I want to see the goods first. That is, the cuts.


But, when you have the senate leader whining about 100k for a Cowboy poetry festival and arguing over 60 billion, in a budget of 3.6 Trillion, there ya go.

Define "earn". Somehow I don't think the Walmart family "earns" their $billions while their employees qualify for welfare. Those working for them should be making a living wage, even if they themselves have to settle for living on $millions instead of $billions.
