The U.S. Has Lost Respect in the World Because of Trump

Oh do tell how “actual diplomacy” works.

By NOT meeting with both parties in a war and negotiate a peace?

Just keep endlessly funding a hopeless war when we know one side can never “win”?

How did that work out for the last three years? Oh yea, a total disaster and hundreds of billions of our tax dollars pissed away.

So it down, and let the adults handle the real world situations. President Trump has already got Ukraine to agree to a temp ceasefire. But these warmongers in European countries want to sabotage it, because they are such great “allies”.
You read too much right wing propaganda. Russia was not winning in Ukraine, and they are the side that can't win. We have funded an endless war between Isreal and anyne Israel wants to start a fight with. Trump getting Ukraine to settle for a ceasefire is not winning or ending anything. Russia must agree to the ceasefire. Putin started that war. Forcing Ukraine to stop defending itself is handing a victory to Putin.

The reputation of the United States under Trump is in the shitter.

It is in the shitter because Trump is running this nation like a third world shit hold.

He makes policies on a whim, changes his mind on a daily basis, has thrown away and jeopardized long time alliances for no reason whatsoever, and breaks international treaties and American obligations like they are meaningless.

Under Trump America's word is like Trump's word: garbage.

Not surprisingly, the OP misses the point.

Europe's interests are not always aligned with U.S. interests, and Europe MUST, if it is to become relevant in the modern world, break away from U.S. influence, and the U.S. must do likewise with Europe.

THIS IS TRUMP's POINT, for God's sake. Europe's interest in the Ukraine war is not the same as American interests. In fact, Europe has shot itself in its figurative foot to accede to American interests, when they stood by without protest when the U.S. Navy destroyed NORDSTREAM 2, and it has cost Europeans tens of billions in higher energy costs. Because the U.S. wanted to fuck Russia, and in the process we fucked our "allies."

Europe should be driving the bus in these Russia-Ukraine negotiations because their interests are much more prominent than those of the U.S.

The U.S. has lost respect? Jesus Christ, how oblivious can you be? Canada has had a figurative NERVOUS BREAKDOWN because of one of Trump's offhand remarks! Panama is shitting its figurative pants, as are Denmark and Greenland. As is Hamas.

Do you understand what "respect" means?
The U.S has lost respect. That is a fact. I understand what respect means, you apparently don't. You live to excuse everything Trump does. Nobody is shitting in their pants because trump is in office. The nations you named were pissed off and offended, not scared.

And where is your evidence that the US Navy destroyed Nordstream 2?

Seymore Hersh or Vladimir Putin?

That is exactly the MAGA answer in a nutshell...

Real Conservatives knew US power was really in its alliances...

MAGA that is too complicated for them...

So they go 'So What'... No fucking clue...

Utter Bliss... Like that stupid cousin that doesn't get it and seems happy...

There were days when world leaders would queue up to meet a Clinton or Bush one to do a favour for US... Clinton was like a rock star when he went into the room in the UN...

MAGA just don't get it...

They don't understand how the world works and how actual global diplomacy works...

Now I expect they will start with the insults..

American prestige has taken huge blow thanks to the election of this president. What you are about to read did not happen under Biden. Or Obama. For that matter, under GW Bush, his father or Reagan.

In rare meeting without US ally, Western army chiefs meet to show Ukraine unity

More than 30 army chiefs among Washington's closest allies met in Paris on March 11 without their US counterparts, seeking to take on more responsibility over the war in Ukraine given President Donald Trump's unpredictability and rapprochement with Moscow.

The closed-door gathering of 34 army chiefs, including Nato alliance and EU members as well as Japan and Australia, was a rare - and possibly unprecedented - convening without the US.

The talks aimed in part to assess options and capabilities to guarantee Ukraine's security in the event of a ceasefire, including potential European peacekeepers, and to maintain Kyiv's long-term military strength.

"The political message is we can do it together and without the United States, but it's clear there are things we can't do and the problem with Russia is we need to have deterrence," said a European diplomat involved in the talks, adding that the meeting was largely pre-planning.

A military official said the US was not invited, in an intended signal that Europe and other partners could take their responsibilities given Mr Trump has distanced himself from allies.

Brats always hate it when they’re made to be responsible

They know we are done.

tRump has relegated us to the back seat, we no longer have any control.

. . . and this? Is how you really don't understand how the global technocracy works.

NO ONE should have been in those theaters of war, and yet they did. . . . WHY?!?
I understand completely. I opposed the wars, but the point here is that Trump has made it so we cannot be trusted by our allies, and that makes us less safe because they will stop sharing intel that has helped keep us safe.

Wait. Do you mean the brats who had a complete temper tantrum and meltdown because they were made to wear masks, or get a vaccine during a worldwide pandemic?

Those brats?

Their world is very small, and they'll do or say anything it takes to keep it that way.

I think they're just afraid of what exists beyond their front yard.
If the U.S. were truly isolationist, Europe would be part of Russia.

There's a difference in Respect and Compliance.

One cannot demand Respect ... And can only desire to earn it ...
Or what they receive will not be Respect at all ... But Compliance at best.

What many world leaders want from America is Compliance ... And has nothing to do with Respect.
If they desire a lesson in that ... We can show them how that works ... When we provide them with neither ...
And they don't have much to work with ...

Freedom from government mandates does not equal a 'temper tantrum.' Only a Marxist would say that.
