I think the Dems are hoping for a terrorism attack so they can blame it on Trump.

Is that really an honest characterization? D's have offered to fund DHS agencies including TSA, but not ICE. ICE received billions from the BBB and has no lack of funding. Dotard is refusing to accept the compromise because he will not negotiate with respect to the tactics ICE uses. Ones that came in to full view in MN resulting in a public backlash and revealing an obvious need for reforms.

Very honest, it is dishonest to allow people that don’t care about our laws, our legal immigrants, our country into our country and it is dangerous.

Illegal immigration is not good for America, it is not good for our infrastructure, it is certainly not good for our poor and the working class.

I am all for legal immigration, we are a nation of immigrants, however we are a nation of laws.

When laws are silly, and contrary to what people want, they get broken.

I give you... Prohibition. The moral pearl clutchers were all for banning alcohol for everyone else, but enough people wanted to get drunk to where getting it illegally became so easy that the laws became meaningless.

Now, we all claim we don't want illegal immigration. But we do want to shit on clean toilets and have cheap vegetables.

You could end the "Illegal" problem by having a system of National ID cards and prosecuting employers who hire them. But we won't.

Actually, what would have been an easy win would have been holding ICE accountable for it's abuses.

Not one thing the Democrats are asking for regarding ICE is unreasonable.

What's not going to play well for you guys in November is an unpopular war the Israelis won't let us end, $5.00 gas, and a flailing economy. Not to mention the drip-drip-drip of the Epstein files.

Even if things were going well, you'd still lose seats in November, because that's kind of how our system self-corrects.

In a few years, you will all be denying you ever supported Trump.
