The truth on the Renee Good shooting lies in the middle

If I parked 3 feet from you and you were by my headlight I couldn’t run over you with a Honda Odyssey. You’d do what he did. Take one step out of the way of a 3mph car.

Of course you likely wouldn’t pump 3 shots into my head.

She wasn't parked. She turned her wheels towards the agent and accelerated.
The video destroys your arguments.

Remember these words: A cop doesn't have to retreat.
A cop can’t use force to kill the driver of a slow moving vehicle when they can easy just move out of the way.

You are one ******* idiot.
That agent had less than one second to make a decision.
He did, she lost. He DID make the right decision.
Your masters would be proud of you, the rest of us? Well,
we're snickering at you.
What makes it “the right decision”?

.

I positioned it right where you need to look.

You're welcome.

It wouldn't load on my PC.

But it ran fine on my phone.

#1 It's not Body Cam footage, the guy is hold a cell phone. (This is important because Body Cam is hands free.)

#2 The footage clearly shows that Good was turning the steering wheel into a hard right turn.

#3 EDIT: Removed statement about which hand the phone was in.

Right.

None of which explained why she parked her vehicle is such a way as to obstruct free movement of the ICE vehicle, or why, after hearing four commands from a federal law enforcement officer to get out of her vehicle, she interpreted that as a command to step on her accelerator.

Did she not speak English?

Only the threat of serious injury is required to use lethal force. An accelerating SUV can cause serious injury even at low speeds. Just use an impact force calculator if you don't believe that. Then look up the required force to cause serious injury to the human body. You loons would do well to let this one go and hope your next terrorist is more convincing if you plan to continue interfering in federal law enforcement actions.

Federal agents and local cops have different rules, you should look into that as well. The more you actually know, the less there is to whine about through sheer ignorance.

A rational person would rather step out of the way of a slow moving car than take a life.

Use of force has to be reasonable. If you can reasonably and easily step out of the way of a slow moving car, use of deadly force is not justified.

Not to mention that the agent was standing on an icy road.

You do take in consideration that all this was being played out in less than a second,
once the vehicle started lunging forward, right? If the agent had to think about what to do,
it would have been too late for him. Life or Death decision

:rolleyes-41: Odds are against your story, marener. Thanks for your ill informed opinion.

The use of force is reasonable when dealing with accelerating vehicles. The impact force increases with the acceleration. Nor is vehicle acceleration set to a standard rate, it changes with each vehicle model. You loons are creating unrealistic standards that do not coincide with our laws. It is disingenuous at best, total bullshit at worst.

The moment she hit him with the car use of deadly force was justified. No matter if was at a snail's pace or the speed of light.
