Looks like it has gone beyond guarding federal facilities now, and they are assisting ICE in the round ups, by providing security. That is law enforcement by armed troops inside the United States. I don't approve and doubt the courts will, either. It is unlikely, the court will care about your feelings.

It is completely within the purview of the Commander in Chief to deploy assets to protect, fortify or resupply Federal installations.

Federal assets were not called up to nor are they undertaking police activities.

I was in LA yesterday. What I saw was about one protestor for about ever 10 or 20 soldiers and cops. LA covers 500 sq miles. Protestors were in front of two federal buildings and some protesters on an Interstate. Sending in the military is increasing the number of protestors which of course is the plan.
