I have been on civil disturbance activation, armed to the teeth, many years ago. It was a state activation, at the order of the Democrat Governor. I do think, several Democrat govern states, in modern times, should have been quicker to activate Guard and control riots, back in the George Floyd riots, but that does not mean, I think the President should be federalizing the National Guard and sending in the troops, in the thousands, to take over. I do not have any problem at all with protecting Federal Court Houses, or any other Federal Facilities.

Donny is an asshole. Activation of state National Guard for emergency state duty should be up to the Governor of state. Not the President. If activated by the President, they are as active Army, not not supposed to be used for law enforcement. Activating the Marines and sending them into that state, is an unconstitutional act, in my opinion. It is also, simply stupid from a command and control point of view, as the use of resources, are not coordinated down to the city/state command level. Trump is doing more harm than good, but that is typical of him.

That said, Newsom should use whatever law enforcement necessary to quell violence and protect property, including the National Guard under strict state control, if that is what he thinks necessary.

Taking into consideration that the governor of the state is behind the insurrection....seems that his authority is gone.

Just claiming Jan 6th was an insurrection doesn't greenlight their insurrection.....just because they want their foreign slaves to keep voting in elections.
