Show me in the constitution where it says you can get on a plane without going through security.
Show me in the Constitution where it says I have to go through security to get on a plane. You've got it backwards. The Constitution doesn't dictate what my freedoms are; it doesn't have to say I have the right to board a plane without going through security. It's a statute informing the Federal government of the limits of its powers. If it's not listed, they can't do it.
Furthermore, nobody here has argued that we don't need security. That's a straw man. We are arguing against the virtual strip searches because as many sources have already pointed out, they wouldn't have stopped the underwear bomber. They don't need these to make flying safer. They simply need to profile.
The world changed on 9-11-01, and if we don't change a little bit with it then we are fools and we are lost.
It's only changed because we've let it change us. It was the same world on 9-12 that it was on 9-10, we just realized we weren't so invulnerable anymore.
You don't like the security at Airports? Don't fly.
You're afraid your plane will get blown up? Don't fly. Stop being selfish and telling everyone else that they are the ones who have to throw their rights away just so you can feel safe.
