If the brain thinks in some sort of demented way, and one applies that deviation to the body, then the devastating consequences should give the brain a clue as to where it went wrong. Ignoring that is a foolish thing.

The consequences is either death or harm from disease in the body or damage to the psychi after learning that the evil one had beguiled or fooled the brain into believing something that shouldn't have been.
