The time for dancing on the head of a pin is no more.

This prez is asserting that authority. Multiple courts disagree. Some agency heads can only be fired for cause because their positions were designed to have protection from politically motivated firings. Protections trump has routinely violated.

Trump Fires Democrats on Federal Trade Commission

The decision to fire the two members of the traditionally independent regulatory body is likely to face a legal challenge.
See you in court then. Meanwhile, those pricks are gone.

Your assertions will be disregarded unless they are substantiated.
Biden tried to forgive student loans and was told he didn't have the authority. So he tried to go around the law.
Obama used an EO to grant amnesty claiming that children who where brought here by their parents weren't responsible.

See you in court then. Meanwhile, those pricks are gone.
Can you explain why you think they are pricks and specifically what gives trump the authority to fire them?

Members of the F.T.C. and other independent regulatory boards are protected from removal under a 1935 Supreme Court precedent that says the president may not fire them solely over policy disagreements. Ms. Slaughter and Mr. Bedoya said they planned to challenge Mr. Trump’s decision in court.

You mean like those unelected judges that ruled a President is above the law?
Why does Trump only get outraged when cases go against him?
The USSC explained the US Constitution to idiots who don't understand "presidential immunity", duh.

Yep, the unelected lawyer judges can be ignored. They don't have the power per the constitution to manage the executive branch of government
Do you know the limits of the executive branch?

The Judges clearly read the law... An agency set up and allocated funds by congress , can only be disbanded by congress...

yeah, ok----a little as a manifestation of an EXPANSIVE
nature----nothing new in presidents and it will come to
nothing new.
It is a radical departure from any other admin in history. It's fair to point out Lincoln and Roosevelt tried to expand presidential powers in limited ways but those were at times of war.....and in FDR's case also an economic calamity. No such conditions exist today though trump is certainly trying to cause a recession.

I'm sorry. Were they female transsexuals?

you must live under a rock. We are engaged in battles against
hostilities and in economic and social calamity

Allow me to disabuse you of the notion presidential immunity is part of the Constitution. It's a construct entirely of the conservatives on the courts making.

Really???

Unemployment was 4.0% and inflation was back under 3.0%...

Trump is doing what he is doing under emergency laws... There is no emergency...
This is done to avoid congressional approval..

Wrong. Clinton fired every single federal judge when he took office, yet Bush attempted to replace 8 or 9 of them and the Democrats had a tizzy.
