Yes. people being people some revert to looting and rioting regardless of ideological and political stuff. Yet it's the right who are always blaming ideology and politics of others when rioting and looting happen. As if Only they are immune from such human instincts and desires.

It's not good

Climate change is a hoax

Global Warming is a hoax. CO2 is not the cause of Earth climate change. Earth's climate does change, Jurassic was warmer, wetter, with much higher surface air pressure.

DO NOT GET WORDSMITHED....

NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Donald Trump’s longtime ally Steve Bannon surrendered Thursday to face state money laundering and conspiracy charges in New York alleging he duped donors who gave money to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. Bannon is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon.

Prosecutors say that while Bannon promised donors all the money they gave would go to building the wall, he was involved in funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars to two other people involved in the scheme. The indictment didn’t identify those people by name, but the details match those of Brian Kolfage and Andrew Badolato, who pleaded guilty to federal charges in April.

Bannon’s state-level charges in New York stem from the same alleged conduct as an attempted federal prosecution that ended abruptly, before trial, when Trump pardoned Bannon on his last day in office. Manhattan prosecutors also charged WeBuildTheWall, Inc., a nonprofit entity that Bannon and others allegedly used to solicit donations.

Presidential pardons apply only to federal crimes, not state offenses. In Bannon’s case, any double jeopardy argument would likely fall flat because his federal case didn’t involve an acquittal or conviction.

and there is a difference between the valuation of a property and burning down entire city blocks, but that requires an IQ over 5 to notice...

They arrested Climate Change a couple of days ago.

Looks like a Rothenberger plumbers blow lamp. The yellow canister creates a hotter flame than the red one.

Fires are a fact of life but so is political corruption. Voters supported the building of reservoirs but they were never constructed. Federal dollars were diverted to supporting illegal aliens while the budget for fire resources was cut. Crucial fresh water supply was diverted to the Pacific to allegedly protect a freaking minnow species that wasn't even endangered.

Oh, so Climate Change didn't cause that one.

"The Eaton fire damaged several Pasadena reservoirs and pump stations, the city said. A “do not drink” advisory has been put in place for the tap water in most of northern Pasadena, and residents are being told to use bottled water for drinking, dishwashing and all other needs."

Why there is no water for some fires

Tom Sito:
The thing to remember about the LA fires is this is not new. Prairie scrub and underbrush have been drying out and burning since the Ice Age. The pioneers used to call them prairie fires. The strong dry autumnal winds similar to the Sirocco or Mistral was named Santa Anna Winds in the 1880s. In 1946 Raymond Chandler wrote a story set during one of these called Red Wind. Joan Didion wrote about them also.

The difference this time is Climate Change. We had two wet years which grew a lot of wild scrub followed by the driest year on record. With climate change the winds are much stronger than normal, almost hurricane force. Whether this fire storm is just a one time thing or represents a new normal remains to be seen.

Wow! To think it's FaceBook that is needed to set so many people straight on the facts of life. I remember learning why The Blue Hills outside of Boston are named "The Blue Hills." It was first thought by English colonists that it was haze from fires. Smoke. Why? Many areas in the "New World" were forested and nature deals with it all with fire.

Fires are part of nature. No preventing them all.

Ok, it's climate change. Now what?

This wind caught them off guard? They only occur up to 25 times per year, EVERY year.
The force of the winds contributed to the fire being spread and out of control straining resources.

More water and management would not have stopped it. Maybe having engines on standby in areas.

but it's all about a blame game with you troglodytes, isn't it
