And how do you get them there? By land that would be maybe India, through Pakistan. I would not want to be in that convoy. And how do you get the tracked vehicles there by land? by air, it's still too expensive.
Depends on your PoV. You deploy troops, they need their gear. But as the gear is in-country for years, especially in an environment hostile to mechanical parts like Afghanistan, it becomes a lot less valuable. At some point, the bottom line dictates that it is cheaper to replenish stateside with new than ferry a 10 year old piece of equipment and then have to completely refurb it.

Probably got there by ship through Pakistan. It took 20 years to accrue much of that large material, so how fast can you ship it back? Besides, we were never intending to ship it back. It was for the Afghans.

Biden had the option to remove the weaponry, instead, he left it for the Taliban....
Under Trump's withdrawal, the Afghan Army was getting the weaponry.....Biden changed all that forever.

Not to mention, the Taliban was violating the agreement well before Trump left the white house. Why did he allow it?
Biden didn't change it. Trump did when he left all those weapons there without enough troops to bring them back.
Ha ha ha.....the equipment was intended for the Afghan Army....can't get that through your head?
Taliban claimed US violated the deal.
Was Trump's troop reduction to zero order, legal?

I appreciate your honesty and seeming rejection of both parties assessment of the situation but my point is if the equipment was to be returned, it should have been done while we were withdrawing troops.
Trump knew the Taliban wasn't holding to the agreement before he withdrew to 2500 troops so he should have made the decision before that point to redeploy.
In my humble opinion what I think happened is right before Trump left office he was having a panic attack that Biden was going to come into office, order the remaining troops home and then take credit for Trump's agreement...thus the last minute order from Trump to remove all troops.
After that fell through he did the only thing he could do; blame Biden for anything and everything, real or imagined in true Trump fashion on Biden.
I am probably wrong but if I had to guess, that is what I think happened.
Are you new? Of course they did. Did you ever think they would claim otherwise?
