I have always believed that recessions are primarily market caused...usually by market saturation...and are part of economic cycles.

However, I believe that whereas government does not cause a recession, it most certainly can stunt the recovery.....and I have always believed it is best for the government to stay out of it...and if anything, offer tax incentives to companies that hire....and ONLY when they hire a permanent employee that is with the firm for a specified period of time.

- Devaluation of the dollar due to increases in the supply of money.
- Increases in commodity prices nearly across the board due to the devaluation of the dollar.
- Increased global demand for commodities as the developing world's living standards improve.
