The Dynamite Kid, Wrestler Extraordinaire, also known as Tom Billington, long known as the explosive smaller partner of the British Bulldogs (his partner was his cousin), one of the most explosive and daring wrestlers the industry has ever seen who literally redefined the sport/industry, is not only now dead as of December 5, but died on his birthday.

Billington is considered by many to have been one of wrestling's most influential in-ring performers, having innovated the level of athleticism involved in the art and merging styles from many countries and was known for his fearless aerial acrobatics. During his career, he suffered many serious injuries that put him in the hospital but refused to relinquish the Tag Team Title Belt. He even left the hospital against doctor's orders to return to wrestling.

In 1997, Billington lost the use of his leg leg from complications from his many injuries and had to use a wheelchair and never walked again until his death. The Dynamite Kid will always be fondly remembered as a true athlete and legend of professional wrestling.
