Earlier I pointed to areas of Oregon where the Aspens grow. Such as Sisters area.
I also posted data on the ability of aspens to slow or stop fires.

Well .. there's seven fires there right now ... how is the aspen mitigating all these wildfires? ... {Cite} ...

Last Wednesday I rode past Sisters and saw no fires at all. You need to persuade the forest experts that Aspens don't slow down or stop forest fires. This has not been about Canada in any fashion.

If you were in Sisters last week ... why are you claiming there's anything but pine growing there? ... did you make it atop McKenzie Pass? ... any aspen? ... or just raw basalt? ...

i have earlier stated that the reports are a lot of Aspen is by Sisters but I saw Ponderosa pines is all.
