The Romeike Family And The Republicans Immigration Hypocrisy

Oh, I made no comment on whether or not the policy was SUCCESSFUL, but just that I understood the motivation to try.

The blacks looked at Haiti and saw their ethnic brother and wanted to help them (or so Bill Clinton preceived).

Now, Christians look at this family and see religious brothers and want to help them.

The op asked a question. Here is the clear answer.
I was not disagreeing with you but rather continuing your thought

Yes, there are a lot of shit holes around the world that torture and oppress people while the UN has the audacity to look the other way and wag its finger at US. That being said, while this family may be here illegally, they look to be aligning with court date and hearings.

Most importantly, the family is not raping and murdering nor are they trafficking in sex slaves or illegal drugs.

Okay, let's use that standard. Anyone who is not committing crimes gets automatic asylum.

Works for me.

(psst...this would also include "not white" people.)

Please show us where white illegals committing rape, murder and trafficking are getting a pass over non whites doing the same?

They are here illegally. They have an order to return to Germany.

USCIS and ICE aren't enforcing it because they are white.
Sounds like racist speculation on your part. Just as likely they are low priority in comparison to more target rich environments which would be a more effective use of resources. As stated, if they are here illegally I support their deportation.

The vast majority of non-white immigrants are doing no such thing.

These people are an easy target. Certainly an easier target than scooping up day laborers from in front of the Home Depot.

We know where they live and where they are. Off to Aligator Alcatraz with these Krauts!

(And I can say Kraut because I'm of German Ancestry!)

You have shown nothing other than an opinion or wish that lies between your ears. Where are the stats to back your claim?

From the Right Wing Cato Institute.

Our headline finding is that both illegal immigrants and legal immigrants have incarceration rates far below those of native-born Americans—at 0.85 percent, 0.47 percent, and 1.53 percent, respectively. Excluding illegal immigrants who are incarcerated or in detention for immigration offenses lowers their incarceration rate to 0.5 percent of their population—within a smidge of legal immigrants. As a result, native-born Americans are overrepresented in the incarcerated population while illegal and legal immigrants are underrepresented, relative to their respective shares of the population.

The relatively low number of incarcerated illegal immigrants places some immigration restrictionists in an uncomfortable position: choosing which myth to believe. The first myth is that illegal immigrants are especially crime-prone. The second myth is that there are actually two to three times as many illegal immigrants as is commonly reported. The usual number used by the government and most demographers is that there are 11 to 12 million illegal immigrants in the United States but a steady drumbeat of skeptics claim the real number is about 22 to 36 million.

No matter how you dice the numbers, a larger illegal immigrant population in the United States means that their incarceration rate is even lower that what we report. Without adjusting for age, a total illegal immigrant population of 22 million would lower their incarceration rate to 0.56 percent using Cato’s estimate of the size of the incarcerated illegal immigrant population. Using the higher (and sillier) 36 million illegal immigrant population estimate by Ann Coulter lowers their incarceration rate to 0.34 percent.

These numbers only compare overall crimes committed by illegal immigrants to US Citizens. Your claim was that among all illegal Immigrants, whites commit more crimes than non-whites.

Whether the illegal committing crime is white or non-white, comparing their combined crimes committed rates to being lower vs. US citizens is not a justification for illegals to remain in the US.

Nope, that wasn't my claim at all. Clearly, you've lost track of your own argument.

Most undocumented immigrants aren't committing crimes, therefore they should get the same sweetheart deal the Germans got.

You brought in the whole “white vs. non-white” component. Why? Is it because you assume that all undocumented workers are non-white and do not commit crimes? What are the numbers behind that vs white undocumented workers?

No, I just point out the obvious. There's an order of removal for the Romeikes, but they are still here.

Either you have a law or you don't.
